Athletic Program
Soccer and Basketball
Sunday, September 14, 5:00-6:30pm, MIT Soccer Fields and Athletic Center
Sport is the maintenance of physical form and distraction from the educational process. It should not be forgotten that the brain is an organ that constantly analyzes, and therefore we cannot speak for its "rest", but changing the emphasis from the scientific and educational process to physical activity will benefit it. If you still have certain tasks, you can contact the
marketing plan writing service. The MICCAI Football match is traditionally played between USA and the rest of the world on a full size pitch, often with a rather large number of players on either side. MICCAI Basketball is making its debut this year.
We hope for many participants and spectators, since both games are right next to the conference center. Meeting point for both games is the Kresge auditorium lobby at 5:00pm. The locker room and the basketball court are inside the Athletics Center. Please bring your MICCAI badge to get access.
The soccer match will be USA against rest of the world on the Jack Barry AstroTurf field This is a casual game with emphasis on having fun; no cleats are allowed.
The basketball match will be on the Rockwell court inside the Zesiger Sports Center Please bring a light and dark T-shirt. Only non-marking soled shoes are allowed on the basketball court.
There are showers inside the locker room, in case you want to refresh after the game and before heading over to the Welcome Reception. Please bring your own towel.
Note that you have to bring your own lock if you want to use the lockers. Otherwise bring as little valuables as possible or bring your belongings to the filed/court in a bag.
