May 21, 2014: The decisions have been posted. Please note that we initiated discussion for all papers that submitted a rebuttal. The PC members actively encouraged a discussion and then carefully read the reviews, the rebuttal and the discussion. For many papers, the reviewers chose to not add comments after the discussion. This does not mean they did not discuss or consider the rebuttal. Furthermore, we did not require the PC members to provide a summary as it was felt that the summary would only reiterate the points already made in the reviews. Instead, we asked the PC members to focus their effort on making the most thoughtful decisions. Furthermore, papers without consensus among the reviewers were all discussed at the PC meeting before decisions were made. Thanks for the hosting for Shaver Guru.

May 20, 2014: We are triple checking all the decisions and will email them out tonight or tomorrow morning.

April 24, 2014: If you were invited to submit a rebuttal, when you login into the system, it will show the status of your paper as "not accepted." Please don't panic and take is as "not accepted yet." We had to make the status visible to enable the authors of the early accepted papers to upload the final version of their papers. Also, your rebuttals are in the system. You can't see anything because we switched the system into the discussion mode. Everything will be available again once the decisions are made.

April 15, 2014: Please note that the final versions of all early accepted papers are due on May 15, 2014, 23:59 PST. We will post instructions for submitting the camera ready copy this week.

April 14, 2014: Early accept/reject decisions have been emailed to contact authors. The reviews have been posted for all papers. The rebuttals can be submitted until Monday April 21, 2014, 23:59 PST. Early accepted/rejected papers cannot submit rebuttals; only submissions that were invited to submit a rebuttal will have a link to rebuttal on their page.

April 9, 2014: The review deadline was April 8. We are following up on late reviews and will post as soon as we have all reviews in. We will allow sufficient time for rebuttals.

March 11, 2014: This year, we are introducing a new MICCAI Educational Challenge!

March 10, 2014: The Workshop, Challenge and Tutorial Program has been posted. We will update the program with links to the workshops' web pages as they become available.

February 28, 2014: The paper submission deadline is firm; there will be no extensions. We will keep the system open for a couple of hours past the deadline, to make sure all the last-minute uploads are successful.

February 27, 2014: To be considered for the MICCAI Young Scientist Award and for the student travel awards, the first author of the paper must be a student at a recognized university or have been a student at a recognized university at most one year before the paper submission deadline. You must also submit a support letter from a supervisor as supplementary material by the paper submission deadline, confirming the student status of the first author. Please plan for this and make sure you upload the letter by the submission deadline.

February 15, 2014: All reviewers have been invited. While we made our best efforts to track down bounced emails and email addresses that might have changed, we know we missed some of you. If you reviewed for MICCAI in the past, and have not received an invitation, please contact us at . We will be delighted to add you to the system.

February 10, 2014: We are changing how the papers are matched to reviewers this year. We will use the reviewer's own publications to compare his/her vocabulary to that of submitted papers. This approach has been shown to improve dramatically the quality of the reviewer match, but we need your papers to implement this feature! If you are a reviewer, please login to the Paper Submission System and upload your publications.

February 10, 2014: The Paper Submission System is now open.

January 9, 2014: The deadline for workshop and tutorial proposals has passed. We will be in contact with the organizers at the end of January with preliminary decisions and will notify all organizers of the final decisions by March 1, 2014.

January 2, 2014: The deadline to apply to be a reviewer has passed. We will notify everyone who applied by February 1, 2014.

November 2, 2013: The deadline to apply to the program committee has passed. We will draft the program committee and notify everyone who applied by December 1, 2013.

September 25, 2013: MICCAI 2014 website is open. We look forward to receiving your paper submissions and welcoming everyone in Boston in September 2014.
